A slew of new appointments to the boards of ArconicMattel and Waters include sitting or retired CEOs of publicly traded companies, according to data provided by MyLogIQ. In addition, several directors have given notice that they won’t be continuing with the boards of such companies as Alaska Air GroupArconic and General Mills.

Arconic, which is currently searching for a new CEO after Klaus Kleinfeld was caught up in inappropriate communication with an activist, has appointed two new directors, including the retired CEO of Boeing’s commercial airplanes business unit. James Albaugh, who retired from Boeing in 2012, will serve on the audit committee and the board’s CEO search committee, the company announced this week. Albaugh will also chair the board’s cyber-security advisory subcommittee of the audit committee. Albaugh is a director on the American Airlines and Harris Corporation boards.

The board also appointed Janet Wolfenbarger, a retired four-star general with experience in science and technology, test and evaluation, logistics and supply chain for the U.S. Air Force, according to Arconic. Wolfenbarger was the first female four-star general in Air Force history. Ratan Tata, former chairman of Tata Sons Ltd., stepped down from the board.
